WALK YOUR SHIFT

Spot it. Deal with it. Before it finds you.

Four sites. One shift. Your call.

You're walking your shift across the distribution centre, the sandwich line, the pie hall and salad prep. Every floor is about the same three risks — being struck by something, struck against something, or a slip, trip or fall. Some are live hazards; some are those same risks already controlled. Your job is to tell them apart.

1
Read the floor. Tap anything you'd flag as a hazard. Some items are safe, good practice — flag those and it counts against you.
2
Deal with it. Flag a real hazard and you choose how to handle it. Get the response right and it's controlled.
3
Mind your shift risk. Anything you walk past becomes a near-miss — and unaddressed hazards come back later in the shift.
